28th & 29th Nov

28th, Tuesday:
I got up at 745 and reached OT at 830. First i assisted a Lap appendix in which i introduced the port. Then i did a BKA with tariq farooq sb (My first one), then i supervised azeem in doing his first hernia. i was free at 130. After nmaz and lunch, i watched cricket. After maghrib ilyas came and i worked with him 630-8. Then i went with sufi n ammi to buy the jacket. we also bought peanuts, ammi's hand bag and prathas. We were back at about 930.

29th, Wednesday:
I got up at 815 and reached opd at 9. I stayed there till 11. then i came back home to make the HO roster. After going back at 12, i had tea, After that i spent some time in opd and came back at 130. At 2 ilyas came and i worked with him 2-445. I had some rest after maghrib and went to emergency at 815. There i supervised ansar in passing chest tube which became a drama! (passed on left side while it was needed on right side, thankfully before reaching ward it slipped out. then i replaced it but it was not working and muhammad ali sab had to adjust it). At 5 me n ilyas started a laparotomy. It was a case of machine belt injury, there was a transaction of jejunum (did end to end), transaction of ilium (brought out as double ileostomy, i did it, my first one!) and a serosal tear of descending colon (repaired). I closed the abdomen. It finished at 830 and i came back home at 9

27th Nov

Monday:
I got up at 810 and reached ward at 9. After the round and tea, i went with dr atif n asim to serena. Till 145, we attended a session of discussion and then had lunch. We came back at 215, i watched cricket after nmaz and had rest after asr till 6. After Esha, i went to ward at 9, From there me n azeem went to bazar at 11 and had milk and saw jackets. I reached back home at 12

26th Nov

i got up at 1030. After breakfast, dr ilyas came and i worked with him till 2. then i had lunch. After that. master abdullah sab came to wish good luck for hajj journey. At 4, saleem came and i went to drop him at bus stand. Afte rthat, i went with sufi to d ground for shopping. I bought a pent and he bought a jacket. On the way back, i stopped in the ward for few minutes. Then we returned home and got ready to go to khan's walima, today i chose my 2 piece. sufian accompanied me. we reached manarwa club at 10 and were free at 1115. It was very nicely arranged.

25th Nov

i got up at 810 and reached emergency at 840. In the morning i went to deposit the lisence renewal application form, then i went to rafi to get the motorbike oil changed and also got the electrician to fix things. After coming back i went to ward for tea. Then i passed a chest tube. At 2 i went with dr atif and dr ilyas to dynasty for lunch. We returned at 4. I did a ray amputation (my first one) and returned back home at 715. After nmaz, i got ready to go to khan's marriage, i choose JJ kurta shalwar. At 815, irfan picked me from home. Barat started at 10 and reacehd there at 1045. After having dinner, i back back with amir n zafar at about 1215.

24th Nov.

Friday:
I got up at 810 and reached OT at 845. There i assissted 2 lap choles with dab sab and then i did a thrombosed external hemorrhide. I came back at 1215 and after juma and lunch i went for cutting. Then i had rest 330-530. At that time Ilyas came and i worked with him till 745. Then i got ready to go for khan's mehandi and came back from there at 11.

22nd & 23rd Nov

22nd, Wednesday:
i got up at 8 and reached opd at 855, stayed there till 2. After coming back, i had rest 3-545. Then i went to emergency at 8. There, i supervised an appendectomy to asim, there was nothing much to done besides that. I had rest 230-545. After 8, we all went to islam nagar for halwa puri breakfast.

23rd, Thursday:
After the round and tea, we were free at 1245. Then i went to pinum to get reports of carotid doppler and echo. there Dr Imran met me. After getting reports i got back home at 145. After lunch and nmaz, i watched cricket for a little while (pak vs WI, last day 2nd test, match drawn) I slept 3-530. Then dr ilyas came for his dessertation and stayed here till 9. We had dinner at 10. and that was it for the day

21st Nov

Tuesday:
Today i for up at 815 and reached OT at 855. From there i went to ward and stayed there till 1030. Then i came back to OT and supervised farhan's hernia. After that i did a debribement with dr atif. I came back at 130 and had lunch. After nmaz, i watched cricket till asr. Then dr ilyas came close to magrib. He left at 730. I said nmaz then, and had dinner at 845. After that i was just relaxing, studied 2 pages of UW CS

20th Nov

Monday:
i got up at 810 and reached ward at 9. After the round and tea, i went to bazar, 1st i stooped at traffic license office. Then i bought honey lotion, body spray, ketchup, eclairs toffees and ball pens.
After coming back home, i went back to hosp to give the cd to dr ilyas and got the form signed by saleem. After the lunch, i had rest 3-5. At 8 i went to ward for preop and came back at 12

19th Nov

Saturday:
i got up at 945. After breakfast i went to emergecy to replace dr atif at 1130. There i also saw the 3D USG. I had lunch there and came back at 245. After nmaz i watched cricket (Pak Vs WI, 2nd test, 1st day). AT 430 Dr ilyas n safdar came over and i worked over his dissertation topic. he left at 6. Then i went to saleem and stayed with him till 930.

18th Nov

Saturday:
I got up at 810 and reached emergency at 840, passed a chest tube,went to ward for tea at 1130. After lunch i did supervised an appedecectomy to farhan (started bleeding from the mesoappendix after we had pushed it back, then i had to call ilyas for it). I came back at 8, had dinner and relaxed after that

17th Nov

Friday:
I got up at 815 and reached OT at 845. First i supervised a hernia to dr saima and then i did my a hernia myself. I was free at 1130, stayed in ward with asim till 1230 and then came back for juma. After juma i watched mona lisa smile till 3 and then went to sleep 330-445. After getting up i said asr, then fesal came to give his card. When he left i said maghrib and had dinner after esha at 8. Then i watched tv and side by side started UW for CS. I read 2 pages of history taking. and now i m online writing this at 1130

15th & 16th Nov

15th, Wednesday:
i got up at 9 and reached OPD at 930! i stayed there till 215. After coming back, i had rest 3-6. I went to emergency at 8. I did a perianal abcess I & D. There was nothing else to be done. I slept 230-530.

16th, Thursday:
I came back home at 8 for breakfast and changing dress and went back at 9. After the round i went to emergency to assist dr TF in sclerotherapy for rectal hemorrhides in a cirrhotic. I came back at 1245 and after lunch and namz i went to sleep at 130 and got up at 6. After nmaz irfan jnr came and stayde with me till 730. I spent rest of the time just relaxing

14th Nov

Tuesday:
I got up at 745 and reached OT at 825. First i did my own LIH. then i supervised a hernia to farhan, then tea and supervised a hernia to asim, then did a hydrocele + orchiectomy. I came back at 230. After nmaz and lunch i watched cricket (Pk vs WI, 1st test 4th day, WI lost by 9 wickets). After Isha, at 8 i went to exotica where i had dinner with all the HO.

13th Nov

Monday:
I got up at 8 and reached ward at 845. Round finished at 12 and i prepared the list and came back at 245. I had rest 4-6. At about 730 i went to bazar and despatched the eras documents to US. Then i went to ward and checked the list and came back from there at 11.

9th-12th Nov

9^th, Thursday:

I got up at 930 and started getting ready for the journey. Azeem came at 1030 and we left at 11. On the way, we stopped at bhera for CNG and at kallar kahar for zuhr n lunch. From there I drove till pindi. After reaching pindi at 330, we started towards noshera via GT road. At the very beginning policemen checked the car chasis etc! We reached there at about 530. After nmaz, tea and dinner we went out with azeem’s bro’s family. First we visited the officer’s mess at the river side and then the markets. On the way back we had coffee and went to sleep after the nmaz at 12.

10^th, Friday:

We got up at 6 and after the nmaz and breakfast, we got ready and left at 730. It was raining at that time. On the way at GT road we escaped that accident in which a taxi couldn’t control speed and ran onto the divider missing our car narrowly. From Burhan, we entered the motorway and reached PIMS, isb at 930. In the morning session there was a lecture by Dr Edward Benzel and Dr Saeed Bajwa. During the tea interval we talked to Dr Benzel. After the tea there was a lecture by Dr Khalid Sethi.. After that, it was lunch and juma break. At lunch we met David and talked to him. After the juma, we attended the demonstration of spinal surgery. We spent the evening at the PIMS PG hostel. I was a bit shaky about staying there and after getting phone call from sufian about ami not being well, I decided to leave. At 7 azeem dropped me at faizabad coach stand. The coach left at 830 and I reached fsd at 130 and after checking mails, I went to sleep at 2.

11^th, Saturday:

I got up at 8 and reached emergency at 845. During the duty I went to ward for tea. Today I supervised an appendecectomy to asim and did a suprapubic cystostomy. I came back at 8 and after dinner and nmaz I went to sleep at 10.

12^th, Sunday:

I got up at 930 and watched cricket (Pk vs WI 2^nd day of 1^st test) till the noon. In the after noon after lunch, azeem came and stayed with me for about 1 hour during which he told me his story of Saturday in isb. Then saleem same and I worked on his case report. He left at 630. After Isha I had dinner and pressed the clothes.

8th Nov

Wednesday:
I got up at 915, First i went to dr naeem sb of pharmacology for LOR for japan, then i came to OPD at 1015. I became free at 2 after which i came back home and had rest 315-530. After maghrib i went to despatch the LOR to japan embassy. When i came back home, azim sb from US were there at home with heera uncle. I went to emergecy at 820. First i supervised appendectomy to ansar and then did a laparotomy (for runover injury, there was 3 pints hemoperitonium and liver laceration). After that all MOs and Muhammad Ali sb went for prathas. I came back home at 330 and now i m writing these words at 4.

7th Nov

Wednesday:
I got up at 8 and reached OT at 845. First i did my hernia with Ilyas, then i was on camera with TF sb, then supervised a hernia to farhan and then assissted for a short time in AKA with Ilyas and naeemullah sb. I reached back at 215. In the evening i went to NSRC for ID card and on the way back i got LOR signed by Tufail sb

5th & 6th Nov

5th Nov, Sunday:
i got up at 930. After the breakfast, i stayed online. At about 130 Taimur and Irfan came. They left at 330. After the lunch i watched cricket (WI vs Aus, aus won the final of icc championstrophy). After maghrib i went to bazar with sufian to buy dress pents and shirts. We bought 2 pents and a shirt. On the way back we brought tikkey and prathey from khayyam. So it was a nice relaxed day..

6th Nov, Monday:
i got up at 8 and reached ward at 845. After the round i left ward at about 12. First me n azeem got LOR signed by hashmi sb, then by major sb. After maghrib we got it signed by shuja sb. Then did walk in jinnah park. After that i went to rex city and bought a 2 GB flash drive & USB extension for the ward and a headfone and mouse for myself. From there i went to sajid sheikh sb to get his stamp on LOR. On the way back i stopped in the ward for preop round. I came back from there at 1030 and had dinner.

4th Nov.

Saturaday:
I got up at 745 and reached emergency at 830. Ilyas and Atif also reached soon. I went to ward with Atif at 11 for tea and came back at 12. At that time, i came to know that the order for the pay from 29th June was again changed to 18th August. After the lunch I supervised appendecectomy to Farhan, then assissted an irreducible hernia with Atif, then did a cut down with farhan. I came back after giving over at 9. After luch and nmaz i found myself asleep at 11

3rd Nov

Friday:
I got up at 745 and reached OT at 830. First, lodhi sb was generous enough to give me a PUH (mayo's repair). Then i did perianal fistula all alone. Then i had tea where prof farzand sb met me. I came back at 12. After the juma i had rest. After maghrib i got the haircut done and after bath and isha, i went to dynasty at 9 from where i returned at 1145. At 1215 Dr Imran (fcps med, independent med college, now in abbotabad) came to meet me.

1st & 2nd Nov.

1st Nov, Wednesday:
I got up at 820 and reached OPD at 9. Dr Atif was already there. We went to ward at 930 leaving ilyas in OPD. I spent the rest of day in ward. Today i got the order of appointment on stipend basis from 29th june.
I had rest 3-6. and went to emergency at 8. I did a tracheostomy at bed side, assissted a gunshot to groin and perinium with M Ali sb and did a suprapubic cystostomy on a very fat man (it was difficult!). I was able to have rest 4-630.

2nd Nov, Thursday:
i came back at 8 and went back at 930. After the round and tea, i came back at 1, had rest 3-6, then went to ismaeel masjid, came back at 8. Afetr dinner and nmaz i watched cricket (SA Vs WI, WI won)
